Welcome to the Oneida & Herkimer County Chapter!
Our Mission:
In our area, we distribute blankets through health care clinics, hospitals, schools, law enforcement, and foster care agencies.
Give Handmade Blankets
Donations of finished blankets can be dropped off at Joann Fabrics in the New Hartford Shopping Center, or at the Public Libraries in Dolgeville, Little Falls, or St Johnsville. Supplies (quilting cotton, fleece material, or yarns) are generally transferred in person by contacting the Coordinator.
Get Involved: Blanket Making Days
We hold Blanket Making Days occasionally throughout the year and are willing to work with volunteers so they can be held in different locations.
Support Project Linus
Monetary donations should be made through the National Project Linus website, simply specify it if for the Oneida & Herkimer NY Chapter.
